Stainless Steel Steamer Basket with Folding Handle and Legs

Round stainless steel steamer basket with a folding wire handle and short legs for steaming vegetables, dumplings and eggs inside a pot.

The bowl-shaped basket is punched with rows of small holes so steam rises through the food and liquid drains away. Three short legs keep the basket above the boiling water, and the wire handle arches over the top for lifting it in and out, then folds down flat against the rim. The rolled rim has no sharp edge. Between cooking jobs, the same basket rinses tomatoes and berries in the sink or holds blanched vegetables while they drain.
