Leather passport cover in top-grain, vegetable-tanned bridle leather, with a cut-away slot inside that holds the passport in place. Black or tan.
The cover folds like a book around the passport. Inside, a full-height leather panel sits on each side: the right panel has a vertical cut-away slot that the passport's back cover slides into, and the left panel forms a sleeve for the front cover. Stitching runs close to every edge. The outside is smooth, and the inside shows the softer, suede-like back of the leather. Vegetable-tanned leather darkens and develops a patina with handling, so each cover changes with use.
