12 inch round stainless steel basting cover for flat top griddles that traps heat and steam to melt cheese on burgers and steam vegetables.
The wide, low dome sits over burgers, eggs, vegetables or dumplings on a griddle or grill. Add a splash of water under it to steam food, or cover patties so the cheese melts on top. A black loop handle is screwed through the top for lifting with a mitt. The outside is polished to a mirror finish, the inside is brushed, and the rolled rim sits flat on the cooking surface. It also covers a wok or wide skillet.
