Adjustable Cheese Slicer with Wire, Stainless Steel

Adjustable stainless steel wire cheese slicer for cutting thin or thick slices from block cheese for sandwiches, burgers and cheese boards.

A taut wire runs across the head in front of a small roller. Loosen the thumb screw, move the wire closer to or farther from the roller for the slice thickness, then tighten it. Draw the slicer across a chilled block of semi-hard cheese to peel off an even slice with less crumbling. The handle has a hole at the end for hanging, and the compact tool fits in a drawer. Set the thickness before each slicing session.
