The rack is a flat wire frame with five slots stacked one above the other. Each slot has a U-shaped dip in the middle where the lid knob or handle rests, so lids stand on edge in their own space and lean back against the frame. Mount it flat on a wall near the stove or on the back of a cabinet door to use empty vertical space instead of drawer or shelf room.

Lids of different sizes fit in the same rack, with larger lids overlapping the smaller ones below. Glass lids with knobs and lids with side handles both sit in the slots.
